Dr. Khan and her entire staff are incredible! I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and have been passed from doctor to doctor to doctor due to my strange presentation of autoimmune symptoms. She reviewed my entire history taking her time and intently listening to my symptoms (there are a lot). Once she did she immediately began to attempt measures to get my immune system back in control. She sent me to a hematologist to rule out one differential diagnosis she had in mind and once that was ruled out she made a few changes in the approach and helped me fight the insurance to get the main medication I needed. She has been my life saver! I went from being constantly sick and miserable to finally having my immune system under control enough that I have the energy to work and go to school again. Thank you doctor Khan for truly listening and working so diligently to help me get my life back. I can't thank you enough!

Dr. Khan was a life saver for me. I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and I have been having autoimmune issues for years and one Dr would tell me no I think it is this, go see this doctor and that took place 7 or 8 times over a 5 year period. Then... I was referred to Dr. Khan. She sat and reviewed my records and sent me to see a hematologist to rule out one of the differential diagnosis that she had in mind. Once that was ruled out she began a plan of attack to help get my immune system in check. It has been a day and night diffence to my health since I met with her 2 years ago. I couldn't ask for a better doctor. She sat and listened to every concern I had and rather than looking at one symptom she looked at all of them and saw the big picture! Thanks Dr. Khan

Dr. Fatima Khan and her staff her absolutely amazing! Dr. Khan is the first doctor that has ever gotten my asthma under control. I was constantly in and out of the hospital before I found Dr. Khan. She is a phenomenal doctor.

Dr. Hatab is knowledgeable, and has a very nice bedside manner. The office staff are also very pleasant. The wait time was very reasonable.

Dr Hatab is wonderful. Very thoughtful and thorough, makes sure you don't have any unanswered questions. The appointment wait times vary. I have seen him 3 times (for an immune deficiency). The first appointment I was called back quickly, the 2nd one I waited over an hour, and the 3rd time was about 30 minutes. But even the time I had to wait over an hour I got that time back with him as he was not in a hurry to push me out the door to get to the next patient so I am presuming that the patient's in front of me needed him and his time as badly as I did so I don't mind waiting if I get that time back when it's my turn. My only complaint is with the office, if you need to get a message to him or have office staff call you back it is impossible. I was having a rather urgent matter and left a message for the receptionist (only option for my issue) and left 3 messages and never did get a call back, and then I had another matter that, prior to my appointment, I needed an answer, left another message with receptionist and never got a call back. I'll be the 1st to admit a receptionist is going to be incredibly busy, so they need to have another staff member that just goes through and checks for voicemails and does those call backs.

I give this practice only one star & that star is for Dr. Hatab. Dr. Hatab is an excellent doctor who showed kindness, professionalism & made me feel heard as a patient. The practice & policies however, are nothing short of a scam. I was denied an appointment & told I was no longer a patient, & could not longer be a patient because I had an outstanding balance that was sent to collections. A balance I only found out about after trying to make an appointment. It's not even clear if that balance was for service or if it was an unpaid copay, which they never asked for upon office visits & my insurance should have covered service(the ins could be sketchy sometimes). I tried to make the appointment, they told me I could not make the appointment till my debt was settled. After being made aware of the debt, I tried to settle & they said I could not settle because it was sent to collections. I had to track down the agency by getting the info from the doctor's office because ot was so fresh the collection agency had not even billed me! I settled with collections & fast forward to present day, I try to make an appt & was told I can't schedule because of that. I was told i was sent a dozen or so bills(no calls & never receiveda bill), I ask how I can settle & start over fresh & i am told I can no longer be seen there. I explained that all my mail was being forwarded while my house was being torn down & rebuilt(didn'teven change my DL for that)& maybe that is why I did not get anything, but I would never not pay a bill. I was even willing to pay twice to get things back on track & deal with insurance issues later. I tried to make it right to start over as a 'new patient', but my pleadings fell on deaf ears. It is really unfortunate & unacceptable to practice that way & leave patients feeling 'unworthy'. Shame on them.

Very good clinician who is pleased to discuss any medical concerns that you might have regarding your treatment and the process. She is kind and a very good listener too!!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place is an insurance scam. I left this practice after leaving the practice after a year of erroneous billing AND being refused treatment unless I paid their bills that had no itemization, no identification coding, just monetary amounts they felt entitled to. Now, I continue to receive erroneous bills, their finance team and manager do not sit in office to speak with, intentionally ignore calls or leave messages unanswered, and continue to provide excuses.

Dr Khan deserves 4.5 stars ! This is my initial visit, Dr Khan seems to very professional and genuinely care for her patients. The time mgmt needs some work - I had a 9:30 appointment and didn’t see the Dr until 10:20. By that point, the visit seemed rushed due to falling behind. I hope this was just a “one off” kind of day.

I came to Dr. Fatima Khan because I had allergy issues that linger even after being medicated. I like doctors who like puzzles. This is what led me to Allergy Asthma and Immunology and Dr Khan. I answered extensive questions and was allergy tested again.She is very thorough! I was then referred to hematology for more in depth testing. We got some answers, but also some questions. There's still a work in progress,but Dr.Khan is on it! Her bedside manner is super, she's very approachable and friendly. The office staff is nice and welcoming! I'm beyond grateful for her expertise helping me move forward in my health journey. Her bedside manner is awesome,

Lori is a wonderful provider. She carefully reviewed my records and explained possible adjustments to my current treatment. I drive over an hour to come to this practice and it is well worth the drive. Dr Hatab’s entire team is top notch.

Very few things were actually tested for before I was basically given up on. I was looked at and talked down to like I was an ignorant person who was coming to the allergist’s office seeking attention. In reality, I dislike having to go to medical offices, and only went here out of fear of having another anaphylactic reaction without knowing what is causing them. While I appreciate now at least having an EpiPen if it happens again, I don’t know any more about my allergies than I did three months and three appointments ago. Unfortunately, I will have to find another allergist to go to after having such a negative experience.

Dr. Khan is amazing! I went to get my allergy shot and had a reaction. Dr. Khan and some of the staff there stepped right in and helped me administering epiphenephrine and checking on me every 15 minutes. She was so helpful. I love AAIA. The staff and doctors are professional, caring and thorough.

Dr Hatab is a very caring doctor. He asked very good questions and listened intently to the answers and took copious notes. He provided a sample for me to try for the next two weeks until I have another appointment with him to discuss how my inhaler worked. Then he would like to do further testing. It was very refreshing to find a doctor who took all the time it needed to hear why I had an appointment with him in the first place. I can highly recommend him

Although Dr. Khan is amazing. The front office staff is very disrespectful. The appointments line is never answered and the calls never get returned despite leaving a voicemail. Front desk staff personnel should learn how to be more professional and keep their conversations regarding their dislike of any patient to a minimum or when not on stage. Dr. Kahn is excellent; however, the front desk staff is terrible. I swiped my allergy shot card and sat for 20 minutes while the complained about being short staffed, the manager, what the manager does all day, they don't get paid to do her job, etc., all loud enough for me to hear every word. Because I was not checked in during that 20 minutes the nurse had no idea there were issues with my shots and Dr. Kahn left for the day. This is not the first time that inappropriate front desk conversations have been held loud enough for patients to hear. I was irritated after waiting for the doctor to call the nurse back and told them I wanted my records, as I was finding a new practice. I was told I would have to pay for them. That is clearly not going to happen.

Excellent experience at this medical practice. I was seen promptly and all procedures were explained to me. Dr Hatab was engaging and friendly. He asked good questions. He explained in detail how aspirin desensitization worked and that I would be required to take aspirin everyday for the rest of my life. We both agreed that it would not be of real benefit and given my age and conditions could be contraindicated. Really appreciated his knowledge and insight and we further discussed alternatives to address my issues.

Dr H is an experienced and caring specialist who made time to see this Tampa want-ta-be, from VA. Had long time wait to get meds at local drugstore, but Dr H took care of the electronic communication problem (drugstore was backed up).
